Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gentza Angulo made the kick off which started today's match. Pirro Sendeño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 6 minutes of play, Matecañas FC's Bittor Gijon made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Noe Chaves was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Brillante booed when Matecañas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Andinyach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bittor Gijon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Noe Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaac Montesino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gentza Angulo in the 17th minute of the match. If Donio Elberdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Gentza Angulo came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Brillante fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gentza Angulo couldn't finish the play. Isaac Montesino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donio Elberdin in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Gentza Angulo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Montesino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pirro Sendeño's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Noe Chaves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Isaac Montesino came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Brillante's Donio Elberdin. But to his dismay, Donio Elberdin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Donio Echave kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bittor Gijon was the one to do the kick off. After 58 played minutes Matecañas FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Pobes. When Donio Echave fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matecañas FC's protests and gave Donio Echave a yellow card for diving instead. Donio Echave kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The long shot by Pirmin Pescatori in the 61st minute really tested Isaac Montesino's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 68 minutes into the match, Matecañas FC's Bikendi Barraza broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Noe Chaves came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Matecañas FC's Bittor Gijon. But to his dismay, Bittor Gijon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Donio Elberdin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Isaac Montesino skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Donio Elberdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Noe Chaves came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Matecañas FC's Bittor Gijon. But to his dismay, Bittor Gijon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Donio Elberdin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Isaac Montesino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noe Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pirro Sendeño, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Matecañas FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Brillante had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
