The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Demario Baena made a great header on Tibilibi's corner, it was just that Marenao FC's Honrio Coteron managed to reach the ball for a save. Honrio Coteron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, Herauso Uriona notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Marenao FC's Honrio Coteron. Honrio Coteron was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gilberto Farre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Derwin Beranga in the 26th minute. Herauso Uriona succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Herauso Uriona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Honrio Coteron made a huge save. The supporters of Marenao FC booed when Tibilibi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ofelio Hortigosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ofelio Hortigosa during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tibilibi getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ofelio Hortigosa hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maura Astiategui in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honrio Coteron saved Marenao FC from getting behind. Derwin Beranga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Gilberto Farre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 played minutes, Marenao FC's Fortun Cuebas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gilberto Farre came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marenao FC reached it. Honrio Coteron was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maura Astiategui showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 85 minute of play. Emiliano Tarazona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maura Astiategui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
