Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Xepe Ayensa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tanio Ballina in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quirze Garnelo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xepe Ayensa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Zavier Masana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Polonuevo booed when Cali FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leheren Ollacuria didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Tanio Ballina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polonuevo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tanio Ballina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cheche Abuleta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heli Pelaci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute, Buinton Betanzos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 0-2 became the score in the 36th minute when Tanio Ballina elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Cheche Abuleta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quirze Garnelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Polonuevo booed when Cali FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Buinton Betanzos didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cheche Abuleta in the 46th minute of play forced Cali FC's goalkeeper Quirze Garnelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quirze Garnelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cheche Abuleta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cheche Abuleta made a kick off. Cheche Abuleta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Quirze Garnelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quirze Garnelo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tanio Ballina in the 59th minute. Polonuevo's Zavier Masana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heli Pelaci in the 61st minute of play. Zavier Masana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xepe Ayensa in the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to Polonuevo getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Eloi Huarte hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xepe Ayensa in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zavier Masana saved Polonuevo from getting behind. After having played for 81 minutes, Aimar Selgas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cali FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aimar Selgas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Quirze Garnelo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tanio Ballina went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Cheche Abuleta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Polonuevo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
