The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Odon Galaviz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vidal Termiñoso's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Pascoal Onis charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pascoal Onis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th match minute, FENIX´S was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascoal Onis to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jatsu Povia to strike the kick off in the second half. Vidal Termiñoso might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Odon Galaviz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vidal Termiñoso ran back to his position shaking his head. Jatsu Povia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Odon Galaviz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. FENIX´S's Gai Gamez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mosen Estebanes in the 62nd minute of play. Odon Galaviz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascoal Onis, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Jatsu Povia was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. FENIX´S's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 73 minutes, Jatsu Povia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FENIX´S's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jatsu Povia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vidal Termiñoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odon Galaviz having to interfere. If Jatsu Povia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st match minute, Casafria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nardo Agrelo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Casafria booed when FENIX´S was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Iturbe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute of the match Elija Rosell shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gai Gamez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mosen Estebanes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Vidal Termiñoso could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Odon Galaviz however easily saved by the left post.
