The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Samuel Comacho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mirande Yepes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Cienagueta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Comacho came free, but Mirande Yepes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gelacio Huberto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Xavieon Doro came out and tried to block the shot, but Gelacio Huberto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 14th minute. Patasia's Xavieon Doro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Patasia from getting a goal against them. Mirande Yepes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Cabezon, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Mirande Yepes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Cabezon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Cienagueta FC defense, Cirilo Cabezon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mirande Yepes. The Cienagueta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mirande Yepes should have stopped the shot. Gelacio Huberto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Xavieon Doro came out and tried to block the shot, but Gelacio Huberto slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 40th minute. Mirande Yepes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Comacho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cirilo Cabezon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cienagueta FC's Gelacio Huberto managed to work through Patasia's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Gelacio Huberto dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The supporters of Cienagueta FC booed when Patasia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Polo Marty didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cienagueta FC's Mirande Yepes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Cienagueta FC from getting a goal against them. Xavieon Doro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gelacio Huberto in the 60th minute of play. Cirilo Cabezon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cienagueta FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Hermengildo Gandarias hit a great ball. Patasia's Cirilo Cabezon got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Cirilo Cabezon put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Mirande Yepes. Xavieon Doro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelacio Huberto in the 81st minute of the match. Xavieon Doro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gelacio Huberto in the 83rd minute of play. If Samuel Comacho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oto Herias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavieon Doro having to interfere. Patasia's Cirilo Cabezon got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Polo Marty hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
