The crowd rose to their feet as Uaretpa's Luix Lloreda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ofelio Narbona. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Salvino Sodupe charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salvino Sodupe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Uaretpa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Herauso Cubria in the 25th minute of play forced Uaretpa's goalkeeper Christiano Varo. to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Herauso Cubria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christiano Varo. saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Palban Mozo in the 35th minute of play forced Uaretpa's goalkeeper Christiano Varo. to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 played minutes Piliza got a freekick which was hit by Chaime Arveras. Ofelio Narbona didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christiano Bugedo went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Christiano Bugedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luix Lloreda to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Uaretpa's Luix Lloreda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ofelio Narbona made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Ofelio Narbona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luix Lloreda in the 56th minute of the match. Christiano Varo. made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Herauso Cubria sent off a good shot on target. After 61 played minutes Piliza got a freekick which was hit by Xurxo Orchua. Ofelio Narbona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ximun Garcidueñas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the game, Chago Guillarte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uaretpa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piliza the free kick. Chago Guillarte hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. When Herauso Cubria came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Piliza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herauso Cubria couldn't finish the play. Christiano Varo. made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herauso Cubria in the 73rd minute. In the 73rd minute, Chago Guillarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Uaretpa defense, Herauso Cubria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christiano Varo.. The Uaretpa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christiano Varo. should have stopped the shot. When Herauso Cubria came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Piliza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herauso Cubria couldn't finish the play. Ofelio Narbona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luix Lloreda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Luix Lloreda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ofelio Narbona was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. If Luix Lloreda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Uaretpa were the better team. Uaretpa's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
