When Hugo Frexes fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mochila FC's protests and gave Hugo Frexes a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Mochila FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Monroy FC:s goal. Licerio Telena went to the wrong direction when Lucado Boo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Monroy FC's zone, Candido Carneiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maria Villagra came out of the goal and Candido Carneiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 10 minutes, Candido Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mochila FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Candido Carneiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maria Villagra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Candido Carneiro's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mochila FC's goalkeeper Licerio Telena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Garaona Mariño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maria Villagra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Candido Carneiro's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Garaona Mariño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Licerio Telena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garaona Mariño struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Licerio Telena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monroy FC. If Ubarna Giralte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Monroy FC's Maria Villagra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Carneiro in the 40th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Fernandez Delgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubarna Giralte kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 49th minute, Pelayo Villacanes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

53 minutes into the game, one of Monroy FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Mochila FC. Paulino Mendigoitia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Maria Villagra. 1-0. In the 60th minute Pelayo Villacanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maria Villagra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maria Villagra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pelayo Villacanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. If Ubarna Giralte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Monroy FC booed when Mochila FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Terminel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Lucado Boo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monroy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucado Boo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Monroy FC booed when Mochila FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dolfos Zuñiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niolaao Cenzano in the 76th minute of play forced Monroy FC's goalkeeper Maria Villagra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Pelayo Villacanes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mochila FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pelayo Villacanes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Ubarna Giralte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monroy FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mochila FC the free kick. A collision led to Monroy FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ubarna Giralte hit a great ball. Mochila FC's Paulino Mendigoitia couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 84th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Monroy FC. Candido Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maria Villagra having to interfere. Maria Villagra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niolaao Cenzano, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Maria Villagra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pelayo Villacanes went, in the 100th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Mochila FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Monroy FC for a fine match.
