When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Sandaili Saladrigues sped through Lejia FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gonzalo Querendil. 24 minutes into the match, Mamotoco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rico Isasaga came free, but Ofelio Ansola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urbasa Calero during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th minute, Urbasa Calero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ofelio Ansola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Guezmes in the 31st minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Rafe Meneses was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lejia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mamotoco FC the free kick. Ofelio Ansola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rico Isasaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 48thth minute of the game Bartolo Guezmes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mamotoco FC's Ofelio Ansola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Gonzalo Querendil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xever Salas in the 55th minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Xever Salas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Gonzalo Querendil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bartolo Guezmes in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ofelio Ansola, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Mamotoco FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Martin Lazaeta hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Mamotoco FC's Xever Salas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gonzalo Querendil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bartolo Guezmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ofelio Ansola having to interfere. Rafe Meneses kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Gonzalo Querendil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xever Salas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Bartolo Guezmes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lejia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartolo Guezmes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ofelio Ansola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes into the match, Bartolo Guezmes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ofelio Ansola. Mamotoco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bartolo Guezmes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mamotoco FC had won after a very even match.
