Baleren Lasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cordarrel Ansures made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Montxo Ziguenza in the 19th minute of play. Bidari Abendano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ospetsu Portocarrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ares Fútbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Magnaripa FC the free kick. Magnaripa FC's Ospetsu Portocarrero got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Magnaripa FC's Cordarin Umaña got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The audience cheered when Balasi Santoni's long shot passed Cordarrel Ansures's right side. It was 1-3, 43 minutes into the match. Montxo Ziguenza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ares Fútbol Club booed when Magnaripa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mel Belber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.
