Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Toli Pacio got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Isadoro Basagoitia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Varela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave junior the free kick. After 3 played minutes Varela got a freekick which was hit by Isadoro Basagoitia. In the 4th minute, Maureo Pelegrina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 5 minutes into the match, Laffitte Ribero notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Varela's Zernin Sirguero. Zernin Sirguero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 8 minutes, Armando Orbañanos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. junior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Orbañanos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Socorro Argandoña during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Varela's Zernin Sirguero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laffitte Ribero in the 9th minute of play. Socorro Argandoña kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Arano Añe's late challenge caught a junior's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zernin Sirguero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laffitte Ribero in the 16th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Maureo Pelegrina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zernin Sirguero was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Varela's Gaskon Rucabado got a free kick in the 28th minute. Laffitte Ribero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zernin Sirguero having to interfere. Gaskon Rucabado hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toli Pacio in the 38th minute of play forced junior's goalkeeper Leobardo Mañe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laffitte Ribero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Estevon Santome was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Varela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave junior the free kick. The supporters of junior booed when Varela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Estevon Santome didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Laffitte Ribero made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Estevon Santome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leobardo Mañe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th match minute, junior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maureo Pelegrina to maneuver through the defense. If Maureo Pelegrina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the game, Gaskon Rucabado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Varela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave junior the free kick. In the 65th minute, Gaskon Rucabado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Laffitte Ribero took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Zernin Sirguero to make any attempt to save it. In the 77th minute, Laffitte Ribero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zernin Sirguero was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 81st minute, Maureo Pelegrina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The junior fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. During the 90th minute of the match Gaskon Rucabado completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gaskon Rucabado a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
