Estevon Santome could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Pio Tio made a huge save. In the 17th minute, Toli Pacio made a precise shot to the right of Pio Tio. Aipiruhu FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 22nd match minute, Varela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arano Añe to maneuver through the defense. Zernin Sirguero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Casavela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caradaro Curueño placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 31st minute, Cristo Casavela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zernin Sirguero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Casavela in the 35th minute of the match. Pio Tio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toli Pacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdo Arlines stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Estevon Santome managed to get in a good position for a shot. Varela's supporters rose to their feet, but Estevon Santome was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pio Tio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristo Casavela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zernin Sirguero having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaskon Rucabado during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Varela's Gaskon Rucabado got a free kick in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Aipiruhu FC's Caradaro Curueño broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Estevon Santome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Zernin Sirguero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 74 played minutes Varela got a freekick which was hit by Socorro Argandoña. If Valdo Arlines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toli Pacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pio Tio having to interfere. If Estevon Santome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Xerardo Ulibarri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toli Pacio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pio Tio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. If Estevon Santome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Varela's Estevon Santome got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Varela were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Aipiruhu FC for a fine match.
