Octavio Sorriba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Eugenio Iturriaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Jerusalem FC's goal looked a bit too open when Egoi Carreras came free, but Valdo Piciña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pitin Semprun during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chicaleo's Errolan Casar got a free kick in the 17th minute. Nicodemo Lucero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Valdo Piciña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emesto Vallino hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egoi Carreras in the 26th minute of play forced Jerusalem FC's goalkeeper Valdo Piciña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdo Piciña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egoi Carreras in the 28th minute of play. Nicodemo Lucero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdo Piciña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egoi Carreras in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 32nd match minute, Jerusalem FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudentio Ocariz to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the game, one of Jerusalem FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Frutos Affonso shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Egoi Carreras put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Valdo Piciña. Cayetano Reboiras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Iturriaga having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Egoi Carreras was the one to do the kick off. Nicodemo Lucero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Valdo Piciña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 58 minutes, Egoi Carreras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chicaleo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egoi Carreras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 1-1 became the score in the 63rd minute when Octavio Sorriba elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Octavio Sorriba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Jerusalem FC booed when Chicaleo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pitin Semprun didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Chicaleo's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Sorriba came free, but Eugenio Iturriaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Egoi Carreras kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valdo Piciña. That made the score 1-2 in the 82 minute of play. When Nicodemo Lucero came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Chicaleo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicodemo Lucero couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, Octavio Sorriba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute Cayetano Reboiras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Iturriaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Chicaleo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jerusalem FC.
