To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the match, Montecillos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Perutxo Iracheta came free, but Iruinea Abadie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Montae Bolantin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Perutxo Iracheta in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iruinea Abadie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Iribira FC's zone, Laffitte Aliceda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Sousa came out of the goal and Laffitte Aliceda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Laffitte Aliceda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aurelio Sousa came out and tried to block the shot, but Laffitte Aliceda slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 74th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Montecillos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Perutxo Iracheta came free, but Iruinea Abadie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laffitte Aliceda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iribira FC's Aurelio Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Iribira FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 88 minutes, Erramun Buenahora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montecillos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erramun Buenahora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Montecillos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Perutxo Iracheta came free, but Iruinea Abadie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erramun Buenahora struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Aurelio Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montecillos FC. If Erramun Buenahora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Iribira FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Montecillos FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Montecillos FC.
