An unexpectedly hard shot by Quintyn Obieso in the 5th minute of play forced Iteviare FC's goalkeeper Vasco Godinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casomiro Mascareñas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Viles having to interfere. After having played for 10 minutes, Donostia Palomeque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iteviare FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donostia Palomeque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 12 played minutes Iteviare FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Boo. Estebano Maleta's late challenge caught a Entrerrios FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Estebano Maleta helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th minute, Xeromo Tijerina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Peyo Guasch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vasco Godinez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 25th match minute, Iteviare FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo Boo to maneuver through the defense. Saturnino Viles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donostia Palomeque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Donostia Palomeque made the kick off in the second half. Vasco Godinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peyo Guasch in the 55th minute of the match. The Iteviare FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Iteviare FC's zone, Quintyn Obieso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vasco Godinez came out of the goal and Quintyn Obieso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Entrerrios FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Entrerrios FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
