In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Degurgo FC's goalkeeper Roberto Armas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Sukurupo getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Gotzon Nava hit a great ball. Teofilio Mogrovejo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Orlondon Sorzano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Ildephonso Sangra made the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Sukurupo got a freekick which was hit by Gotzon Nava. After having played for 56 minutes, Rufo Hermida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Degurgo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rufo Hermida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frutos Oteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Armas having to interfere. Orlondon Sorzano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilio Mogrovejo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orlondon Sorzano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rufo Hermida, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute.
