Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pacifico Olaisola got the match started through his kick off. Ximen Perdomo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Galo Mariategui having to interfere. Pacifico Olaisola blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guaberto Verlo having to make a save. Guaberto Verlo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pacifico Olaisola in the 13th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Pacifico Olaisola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Verlo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Ramone Oyardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Galo Mariategui. Otromundo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramone Oyardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Galo Mariategui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramone Oyardo's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. If Ximen Perdomo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Otromundo FC's Mino Terron got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 28th match minute, Otromundo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mino Terron to maneuver through the defense. Henrique Cerillo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Galo Mariategui. Otromundo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 31st minute Pacifico Olaisola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Verlo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramone Oyardo in the 33rd minute of play forced Otromundo FC's goalkeeper Galo Mariategui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 played minutes Algeciras FC got a freekick which was hit by Endura Mendibuey. In the 37th minute, Ximen Perdomo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guaberto Verlo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mantzio Cabeza in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ramone Oyardo made the kick off in the second half. Guaberto Verlo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mantzio Cabeza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Otromundo FC's Galo Mariategui got control of the ball when Ximen Perdomo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ximen Perdomo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Galo Mariategui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the game, Ximen Perdomo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Galo Mariategui was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guaberto Verlo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pacifico Olaisola's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. When Otromundo FC's Mantzio Cabeza in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Algeciras FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Pacifico Olaisola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guaberto Verlo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pacifico Olaisola, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Pacifico Olaisola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mantzio Cabeza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Verlo having to interfere. Ximen Perdomo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Galo Mariategui read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. The Otromundo FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Algeciras FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Algeciras FC.
