The referee felt a red card was in order, 3 minutes into the game, when Octavio Gayferos put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Imbili:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ZamS FC:s goal. Gai Zabala placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! If Theodore Labastida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mede Alaña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theodore Labastida in the 16th minute of the match. ZamS FC's Balendin Guazo got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match Quilo Espuga climbed in front of goal and pressed up 2-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Mede Alaña. After a defensive mix-up in Imbili's zone, Quilo Espuga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mede Alaña came out of the goal and Quilo Espuga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of ZamS FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Imbili:s goal. In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Imbili. Panfilo Astonzas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tebaldo Betancurt. 2-1. If Theodore Labastida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mede Alaña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theodore Labastida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Theodore Labastida to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Imbili got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Mayoral. Theodore Labastida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mede Alaña having to interfere. If Quilo Espuga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theodore Labastida took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mede Alaña. Mede Alaña dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Cristobal Melgar charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristobal Melgar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristobal Melgar hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Quilo Espuga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Theodore Labastida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mede Alaña having to interfere. Cristobal Melgar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Imbili's Mede Alaña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theodore Labastida in the 88th minute of play. Theodore Labastida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of ZamS FC booed when Imbili was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Micael Acha didn't get a good kick on the ball. ZamS FC's Theodore Labastida got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that ZamS FC were the better team. ZamS FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
