The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gar Gorbin struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Celestino Urtado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piginio. If Teyo Casquete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dacio Floranes kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teyo Casquete in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celestino Urtado saved Guayabetal FC from getting behind. Teyo Casquete struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Celestino Urtado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piginio. If Gar Gorbin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gar Gorbin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Celestino Urtado firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Guayabetal FC's zone, Gar Gorbin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celestino Urtado came out of the goal and Gar Gorbin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Piginio's Teyo Casquete in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guayabetal FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 32nd minute, Lauro Armero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Gar Gorbin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Teyo Casquete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Urtado having to interfere. The supporters of Piginio booed when Guayabetal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Luga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celestino Urtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teyo Casquete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gar Gorbins short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Celestino Urtado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The crowd rose to their feet as Cordeara Aponte kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabio Calahorra. That made the score 0-1 in the 61 minute of play. When Piginio's Teyo Casquete in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 74th match minute, Guayabetal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauro Armero to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Rudolfo Arana fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Celestino Urtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teyo Casquete in the 83rd minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Guayabetal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teyo Casquete came free, but Celestino Urtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92ndth minute of the game Gar Gorbin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guayabetal FC's Celestino Urtado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 95th minute Teyo Casquete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Urtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gar Gorbin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celestino Urtado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Guayabetal FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
