After a rather tough play, Almagra FC's Teofilo Palmades got a free kick in the 4th minute. Demario Marañon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanislao Risel having to interfere. If Marcelito Sayavedra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Demario Marañon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Stanislao Risel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Almagra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zunbeltz Puentes to maneuver through the defense. Vincente Senderos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaquiel Berroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After a rather tough play, Almagra FC's Teofilo Palmades got a free kick in the 20th minute. Marcelito Sayavedra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stanislao Risel having to make a save. Demario Marañon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stanislao Risel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Demario Marañon's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After 34 minutes, Zaquiel Berroa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almagra FC and the Meollaca players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zaquiel Berroa kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 36thth minute of the game Jimeno Aranguren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Almagra FC's Stanislao Risel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Meollaca's Stanislao Risel threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Demario Marañon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marcelito Sayavedra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanislao Risel having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Demario Marañon to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Marcelito Sayavedra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meollaca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelito Sayavedra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marcelito Sayavedra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcelito Sayavedra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Stanislao Risel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stanislao Risel came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Meollaca's Demario Marañon. But to his dismay, Demario Marañon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 68 minutes into the match, Zaquiel Berroa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vincente Senderos, 1-1. Stanislao Risel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelito Sayavedra in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demario Marañon in the 77th minute of play forced Almagra FC's goalkeeper Stanislao Risel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vincente Senderos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaquiel Berroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Demario Marañon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meollaca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Demario Marañon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Demario Marañon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stanislao Risel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
