Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Montez Lusa kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Anderica notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Paltapamba FC's Ipar Bonifaz. Ipar Bonifaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 15 minutes into the match, Paltapamba FC's goalkeeper Ipar Bonifaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolfo Anderica. Montez Lusa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Olañeta having to interfere. In the 20th minute Montez Lusa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Olañeta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ipar Bonifaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bautista Zurica in the 22nd minute of the match. Silverio Olañeta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Montez Lusa in the 24th minute of play. Silverio Olañeta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balendin Manzardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Montez Lusa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Anderica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ipar Bonifaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Anderica succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 38th playminute. Montez Lusa took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silverio Olañeta. Silverio Olañeta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, Paltapamba FC's Sotero Vila got a free kick in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bautista Zurica made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ugaitz Solorzano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 minutes, Bautista Zurica made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Paltapamba FC's Ipar Bonifaz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ipar Bonifaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bautista Zurica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serapio Olalde during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bautista Zurica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ipar Bonifaz having to interfere. Cuzaquin's Bautista Zurica got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Paltapamba FC's Balendin Manzardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silverio Olañeta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Montez Lusa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Cuzaquin's goalkeeper Silverio Olañeta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balendin Manzardo. When Montez Lusa came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Paltapamba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Montez Lusa couldn't finish the play. Bautista Zurica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute Rodolfo Anderica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ipar Bonifaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Balendin Manzardo could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Silverio Olañeta however easily saved by the left post. Montez Lusa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Olañeta having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Montez Lusa in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silverio Olañeta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Montez Lusa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Montez Lusa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bautista Zurica's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ipar Bonifaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Ipar Bonifaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bautista Zurica in the 95th minute of the match. Cuzaquin's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
