The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aures FC's Xosepin Maximino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Berria in the 7th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ikatz Carredelo in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quintin Ciaño prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Aures FC's Marko Vispieres got a free kick in the 12th minute. Alonzo Chacin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xosepin Maximino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Pelon, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. George Neyda charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed George Neyda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Aures FC's George Neyda got a free kick in the 27th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Manenciare FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! After 31 played minutes Aures FC got a freekick which was hit by Iztal Eleizalde. 35 minutes into the game, Feo Alaez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Xosepin Maximino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Froilan Gilavert scored 0-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xosepin Maximino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Pelon in the 43rd minute of play forced Aures FC's goalkeeper Xosepin Maximino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ikatz Carredelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Froilan Gilavert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manenciare FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Froilan Gilavert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xosepin Maximino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xosepin Maximino made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Feo Alaez sent off a good shot on target. A throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game was made by Fernado Zarandona with Sebastiano Cerrabe as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 80thth minute of the game Lucio Cerio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aures FC's Xosepin Maximino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Xosepin Maximino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Gilavert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xosepin Maximino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feo Alaez in the 84th minute. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Eugenio Pelon took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Xosepin Maximino to make any attempt to save it. 94 minutes into the match, Manenciare FC's goal looked a bit too open when George Neyda came free, but Quintin Ciaño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Aures FC booed when Manenciare FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Gilavert didn't get a good kick on the ball.
