Ciceron Sojo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deunoro Uriondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Matalarga's Ciceron Sojo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helder Busquet in the 7th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Guillen Pertierra got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Ramond Verdaguer fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Batatal's protests and gave Ramond Verdaguer a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Batatal's Ramond Verdaguer got a free kick in the 10th minute. Diogo Siruendo had great luck who in the 12thth minute grab hold of the ball when Teodoro Baltanas from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Stanislao Diego kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Deunoro Uriondo in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciceron Sojo saved Matalarga from getting behind. If Teodoro Baltanas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Guillen Pertierra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teodoro Baltanas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Diogo Siruendo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deunoro Uriondo in the 47th minute of play forced Matalarga's goalkeeper Ciceron Sojo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Deunoro Uriondo was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th match minute, Batatal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramond Verdaguer to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Batatal booed when Matalarga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Vasallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Deunoro Uriondo came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Batatal fans jumped to their feet. Batatal's Helder Busquet got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Deunoro Uriondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
