Eulalio Iracheta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cris Reguera having to interfere. After 7 played minutes Janipa FC got a freekick which was hit by Belo Merayo. Eulalio Iracheta hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute Marino Lucio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepillo Mesones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eulalio Iracheta kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Janipa FC's Candido Padron got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute, Marino Lucio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pepillo Mesones was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 21st minute Marino Lucio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepillo Mesones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Pasoclave FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Barbaza came free, but Cris Reguera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Janipa FC's Pepillo Mesones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marino Lucio in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Pasoclave FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Zayvion Ganchegui hit a great ball. If Joselito Nevares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 36th minute, Joselito Nevares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Janipa FC's Joselito Nevares in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pasoclave FC's goalie prevented a goal. Janipa FC's Benito Barbaza got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Joselito Nevares came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Janipa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joselito Nevares couldn't finish the play. If Joselito Nevares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute Joselito Nevares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cris Reguera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Joselito Nevares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 59thth minute of the game Joselito Nevares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pasoclave FC's Cris Reguera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Janipa FC's Joselito Nevares managed to work through Pasoclave FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Joselito Nevares dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 66th minute, Benito Barbaza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Janipa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 69th minute, Joselito Nevares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cris Reguera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a little luck, Janipa FC's Pepillo Mesones got control of the ball when Marino Lucio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Marino Lucio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pepillo Mesones. Marino Lucio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Cris Reguera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joselito Nevares, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikelar Sarmiento in the 80th minute of play forced Janipa FC's goalkeeper Pepillo Mesones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 played minutes Janipa FC got a freekick which was hit by Shepherd Agusto. In the 84th minute of the match Candido Padron shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cris Reguera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Joselito Nevares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Benito Barbaza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cris Reguera was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Pepillo Mesones was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marino Lucio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 93 minute of play. Pasoclave FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
