Christiano Payva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Godofredo Gegunde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Sora's goal looked a bit too open when Christiano Payva came free, but Godofredo Gegunde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Escandoy FC's Christiano Payva got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leoncio Ungia might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugenio Velastegui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leoncio Ungia ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24th minute, Handi Asencion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Godofredo Gegunde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herena Xavier in the 31st minute of the match. Leoncio Ungia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rufo Icazate charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rufo Icazate the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sora booed when Escandoy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rufo Icazate didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugenio Velastegui didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leoncio Ungia went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sora fans cheered their team off the field, for while Escandoy FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
