Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jerico Tagle to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eli Garrote got free with Ubendu Astudillo in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 77 minutes into the match, Combito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eli Ojesto came free, but Marcial Queralt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerico Tagle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eli Garrote had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Leopardos Sur Fls's Ubendu Astudillo got control of the ball when Eli Garrote tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rios Cera's late challenge caught a Combito FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Leopardos Sur Fls. The referee gave Combito FC a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Elvio Senzano, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Leopardos Sur Fls's Ubendu Astudillo. 0-3. In the 96th minute, Romulo Prieto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
