Rufo Montez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ospetsu Peñacerrada in the 3rd minute. After 5 played minutes Humpa FC got a freekick which was hit by Zayvius Alcivia. Xavierlada Barnuevo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Irisarri, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Mario Irisarri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavierlada Barnuevo having to interfere. Mario Irisarri struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Xavierlada Barnuevo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Humpa FC. Xavierlada Barnuevo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mario Irisarri's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Rufo Montez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sindo Noreña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Palamates's Xavierlada Barnuevo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Varez in the 31st minute of play. Sindo Noreña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Varez in the 35th minute of play forced Palamates's goalkeeper Xavierlada Barnuevo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Sindo Noreña's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rufo Montez was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Sindo Noreña might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rufo Montez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sindo Noreña ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Irisarri was the one to do the kick off. Leonel Varez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Palamates booed when Humpa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Varez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute Ospetsu Peñacerrada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rufo Montez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonel Varez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavierlada Barnuevo having to interfere. Leonel Varez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ospetsu Peñacerrada in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rufo Montez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xavierlada Barnuevo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beturian Molledo in the 65th minute of the match. Leonel Varez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Xavierlada Barnuevo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonel Varez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Xavierlada Barnuevo made a huge save. Mario Irisarri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xavierlada Barnuevo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Edilberto Zarzuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Beturian Molledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bilbo Riancho was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Lucas Sahagun fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Humpa FC's protests and gave Lucas Sahagun a yellow card for diving instead. Lucas Sahagun kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Sindo Noreña struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Rufo Montez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palamates. After having played for 86 minutes, Ospetsu Peñacerrada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palamates's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ospetsu Peñacerrada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Lucas Sahagun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xavierlada Barnuevo. Palamates's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Sahagun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
