But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Weterio Dalmases couldn't finish the play. After 8 played minutes Manacacias FC got a freekick which was hit by Roano Andolz. Huly Guernica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximiliano Granela's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Marcelino Gavito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Huly Guernica made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sanduru Coronel in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Weterio Dalmases in the 22nd minute of play forced Manacacias FC's goalkeeper Gogo Altares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 played minutes Tangua got a freekick which was hit by Poz Tizon. Senon Navedo's late challenge caught a Manacacias FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Senon Navedo helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tangua fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Marcelino Gavito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tangua's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelino Gavito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gogo Altares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sanduru Coronel struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Huly Guernica didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manacacias FC. Marcelino Gavito struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Gogo Altares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tangua. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Weterio Dalmases to strike the kick off in the second half. Manacacias FC's Sanduru Coronel got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Manacacias FC booed when Tangua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Valdeboys didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sanduru Coronel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Tangua getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Senon Navedo hit a great ball. In the 61st minute Maximiliano Granela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Huly Guernica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Manacacias FC's Maximiliano Granela sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Huly Guernica narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Huly Guernica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Granela, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute.
