Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Arriano in the 5th minute of play forced Galapago FC's goalkeeper Jesus Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute Ivon Sarandeses shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Pumar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Rene Canta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, Ivon Sarandeses notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Lejanias's Cornelio Pumar. Cornelio Pumar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Galapago FC's Jesus Xavier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patxi Marina in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lejanias's Goren Sarricolea got a free kick in the 13th minute. The audience was convinced that Ivon Sarandeses's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cornelio Pumar was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After 16 minutes, Mark Arriano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lejanias and the Galapago FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cornelio Pumar was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Ivon Sarandeses capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Goren Sarricolea couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Galapago FC's goalkeeper Jesus Xavier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Galapago FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zenaido Jalon was slow to take the kick. During this time Lejanias's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Zenaido Jalon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jesus Xavier quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Goren Sarricolea made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Galapago FC's Ivon Sarandeses nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cornelio Pumar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. If Ivon Sarandeses had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st minute, Goren Sarricolea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jesus Xavier. The goal made the score 3-2. 65 minutes into the game, Galapago FC's Angelino Bejar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cornelio Pumar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. After having played for 68 minutes, Ivon Sarandeses managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galapago FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivon Sarandeses was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th match minute, Lejanias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Arriano to maneuver through the defense. Jesus Xavier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Goren Sarricolea, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Patxi Marina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jesus Xavier having to make a save. After 82 minutes of play Galapago FC's Vitor Caldevilla was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Jesus Xavier made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Patxi Marina sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th match minute, Galapago FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivon Sarandeses to maneuver through the defense. After 88 played minutes Galapago FC got a freekick which was hit by Ivon Sarandeses. Jesus Xavier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patxi Marina went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. A collision led to Lejanias getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Mark Arriano hit a great ball. If Angelino Bejar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
