When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Quinito Tegeiro sped through Turuyaco FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vigil Verganza. 20 minutes into the game, Tacuyalta's Dalmacio Bajuelo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vigil Verganza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. A collision led to Tacuyalta getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Xepe Agües hit a great ball. Vigil Verganza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Txurio Argüelles in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Tacuyalta's goal looked a bit too open when Barto Barzana came free, but Belmiro Cobian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41stth minute of the game Hug Cerejido who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tacuyalta's Belmiro Cobian was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dalmacio Bajuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Turuyaco FC's Quin Hijosa got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Dalmacio Bajuelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vigil Verganza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Txurio Argüelles, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Dalmacio Bajuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Vigil Verganza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Quinito Tegeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tacuyalta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Turuyaco FC the free kick. Quinito Tegeiro hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Hug Cerejido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a left leg Belmiro Cobian saved Tacuyalta from getting behind. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tacuyalta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
