Cordero FC's Evelio Pertierra got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rojelio Galanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Clavell having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Olando Robina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Severino Bodes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bayona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino Bodes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nemesio Clavell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Severino Bodes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nemesio Clavell was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Evelio Pertierra put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Taio Llano. After 61 played minutes Cordero FC got a freekick which was hit by Lauro Izana. 68 minutes into the match, Rojelio Galanes notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Cordero FC's Nemesio Clavell. Nemesio Clavell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Bayona FC's Taio Llano got control of the ball when Gelmiro Aizpurua tried to sneak it across the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Bayona FC's goalkeeper Taio Llano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gelmiro Aizpurua. Bayona FC's Rojelio Galanes got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Cordero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Bodes came free, but Nemesio Clavell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ieltxu Herbon's late challenge caught a Bayona FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ieltxu Herbon helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cordero FC's Ieltxu Herbon got a free kick in the 87th minute. Nemesio Clavell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Bodes in the 88th minute of play. Nemesio Clavell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rojelio Galanes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severino Bodes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Clavell having to interfere. After some careless play in the Cordero FC defense, Rojelio Galanes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nemesio Clavell. The Cordero FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nemesio Clavell should have stopped the shot. Bayona FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
