Vennancio Flecha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Federico Aro's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Fernandes in the 20th minute of play forced Upito FC's goalkeeper Vennancio Flecha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Hermon Orsini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lop Gallaiztegui. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Federico Aro made the kick off in the second half. Lop Gallaiztegui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betadur Obina in the 51st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico Aro in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vennancio Flecha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gai Grijalba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Vennancio Flecha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Upito FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Iraido Villaverde hit a great ball. In the 59th minute of the match Fiz Isoba shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vennancio Flecha showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Upito FC's zone, Federico Aro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vennancio Flecha came out of the goal and Federico Aro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Upito FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Betadur Obina hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Federico Aro managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Milan's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Aro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vennancio Flecha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Benjamin Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the AC Milan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Fernandes couldn't finish the play. Benjamin Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vennancio Flecha having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Betadur Obina made a precise shot to the right of Lop Gallaiztegui. AC Milan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 77 minutes of play, AC Milan's Federico Aro made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vennancio Flecha was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Upito FC's Federigo Bernabeytia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lop Gallaiztegui. That made the score 1-3 after 80 minutes of play. With a little luck, AC Milan's Lop Gallaiztegui got control of the ball when Betadur Obina tried to sneak it across the goal line. AC Milan's Lop Gallaiztegui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save AC Milan from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Federigo Bernabeytia got free with Lop Gallaiztegui in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When AC Milan's Federico Aro in 90 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Vennancio Flecha guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 90th minute, Federico Aro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
