The Pozones FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Moreno's Orlanda Abechuco got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 21 played minutes Pozones FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Muxica. Jorge Muxica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eufrasio Abaurre having to interfere. The supporters of Pozones FC booed when Moreno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Txindoki Villaurreta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pozones FC's Weterio Lambriabe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlanda Abechuco in the 29th minute of play. Jorge Muxica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Eufrasio Abaurre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 minutes, Menendo Pujana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moreno and the Pozones FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orlanda Abechuco to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Juaneizu Antigua was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moreno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pozones FC the free kick. In the 51st minute, Juaneizu Antigua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Batista Persol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute Orlanda Abechuco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Weterio Lambriabe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Domenec Clas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Weterio Lambriabe. Pozones FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domenec Clas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 68 minutes into the match, Moreno's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Muxica came free, but Eufrasio Abaurre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Cisco Bocanegra suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Juaneizu Antigua got his second yellow card in the match during the 69th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Pozones FC booed when Moreno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juaneizu Antigua didn't get a good kick on the ball.
