Bertin Najera struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Batista Camarero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmeras FC. Palmeras FC's Gervasio Cia was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Batista Camarero in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 16th minute, Palmeras FC's Pueblo Castrillo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Pueblo Castrillo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Palmeras FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Pueblo Castrillo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Palmeras FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! When Gervasio Cia fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palmeras FC's protests and gave Gervasio Cia a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Palmeras FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Gervasio Cia hit a great ball. With his leg Arlo Torrens managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Inosu's Froylan Resines fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 25 minutes into the match, Palmeras FC's Bertin Najera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Batista Camarero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Inosu's Esdras Garrido got a free kick in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertin Najera in the 31st minute of play forced Inosu's goalkeeper Batista Camarero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Inosu's goalkeeper Batista Camarero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bertin Najera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Froylan Resines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
51 minutes into the match, Palmeras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Froylan Resines came free, but Arlo Torrens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Andoni Peñacerrada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inosu's supporters rose to their feet, but Andoni Peñacerrada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arlo Torrens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andoni Peñacerrada might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arlo Torrens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andoni Peñacerrada ran back to his position shaking his head. Froylan Resines took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arlo Torrens. Arlo Torrens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Desire Carmenes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 played minutes Palmeras FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliu Castrillo. Froylan Resines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. With a little luck, Inosu's Batista Camarero got control of the ball when Bertin Najera tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Bertin Najera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Froylan Resines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlo Torrens having to interfere. Andoni Peñacerrada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inosu were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Palmeras FC for a fine match.
