A collision led to Puspue getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Jesus Biembengén hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Ermano Carbajal put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alberto Andonegui. After a defensive mix-up in Arroyuelo's zone, Otoniel Cavadilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silbestre Guezmes came out of the goal and Otoniel Cavadilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jesus Biembengén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silbestre Guezmes having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Jesus Biembengén left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Puspue fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to Arroyuelo getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Bitxintxo Rino hit a great ball. Silbestre Guezmes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Pizaño in the 33rd minute of the match. If Otoniel Cavadilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Arroyuelo's goal looked a bit too open when Otoniel Cavadilla came free, but Silbestre Guezmes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Puspue's Alberto Andonegui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ioritz Villayuste in the 40th minute of play. Otoniel Cavadilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ioritz Villayuste stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Silbestre Guezmes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Biembengén, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute Ioritz Villayuste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Andonegui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Herena Agunaga fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puspue's protests and gave Herena Agunaga a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermano Carbajal in the 59th minute of play forced Puspue's goalkeeper Alberto Andonegui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arroyuelo's Piearres Novajas got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ioritz Villayuste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Andonegui having to interfere. The supporters of Arroyuelo booed when Puspue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taio Huerta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otoniel Cavadilla might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silbestre Guezmes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Otoniel Cavadilla ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Puspue getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Tavio Bastida hit a great ball. Ioritz Villayuste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Andonegui having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, one of Puspue:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 89th minute there was a penalty for Arroyuelo. Amador Muxi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alberto Andonegui. 2-1. If Otoniel Cavadilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Imanol Muñio fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arroyuelo's protests and gave Imanol Muñio a yellow card for diving instead. Arroyuelo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Puspue for a fine match.
