In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zapatoza FC's goalkeeper Matxin Peñas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Franco Vinas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 9th minute, Franco Vinas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gorka Reymondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garaona Berrondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Matxin Peñas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matxin Peñas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Garaona Berrondo's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Matxin Peñas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garaona Berrondo in the 25th minute of play. Matxin Peñas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gorka Reymondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Blue Knight's Gorka Reymondo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matxin Peñas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Xepe Marmol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Zapatoza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gorka Reymondo came free, but Matxin Peñas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franco Vinas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Aníbal Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aníbal Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xepe Marmol, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Alonzo Guismonde kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Galsino Campusano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aníbal Fonseca quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gorka Reymondo to make the kick off. Tiago Cañal hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Galsino Campusano thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Matxin Peñas, a very annoying self made goal in the 52nd minute which led to 0-1. In the 59th match minute, Blue Knight was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimas Cardeño to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Zapatoza FC's Matxin Peñas got control of the ball when Garaona Berrondo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 64 minutes, Gorka Reymondo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blue Knight's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gorka Reymondo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 65 played minutes Zapatoza FC got a freekick which was hit by Montel Urquiaga. In the 69th minute, Dimas Cardeño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aníbal Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Vinas in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Alonzo Guismonde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 played minutes Blue Knight got a freekick which was hit by Dimas Cardeño. Franco Vinas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Franco Vinas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aníbal Fonseca having to interfere. Xepe Marmol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aníbal Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Vinas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Zapatoza FC's zone, Garaona Berrondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matxin Peñas came out of the goal and Garaona Berrondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Blue Knight's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
