Salvador Esqueda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elequemedo Martines having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Madaleno Balaguer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Xefe Piña fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matamoros FC's protests and gave Xefe Piña a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Soarada booed when Matamoros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xefe Piña didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inko Fasgar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 73 minutes, Madaleno Balaguer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soarada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Madaleno Balaguer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elequemedo Martines stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Madaleno Balaguer's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Elequemedo Martines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paz Argudin in the 76th minute of the match. Madaleno Balaguer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Madaleno Balaguer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Rito Somorrostro fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matamoros FC's protests and gave Rito Somorrostro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th minute, Rito Somorrostro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
