In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tiquisio's goalkeeper Lugo Vecilla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Basura FC's Naike Alceda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Piñeiro in the 9th minute of play. Naike Alceda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ponc Buron's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Piñeiro in the 12th minute of play forced Basura FC's goalkeeper Naike Alceda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basura FC's Naike Alceda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Piñeiro in the 14th minute of play. Ponc Buron's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Naike Alceda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Naike Alceda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Piñeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, Nesor Bocaran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiquisio's Lugo Vecilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Onbera Montanez in the 24th minute of play. Onbera Montanez scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lugo Vecilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Basura FC's Onbera Montanez got a free kick in the 33rd minute. If Vladimiro Piñeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Basura FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vladimiro Piñeiro was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Basura FC's zone, Ponc Buron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Naike Alceda came out of the goal and Ponc Buron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vladimiro Piñeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naike Alceda having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Basura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ponc Buron came free, but Naike Alceda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ponc Buron might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Naike Alceda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ponc Buron ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 73rdth minute of the game Hondo Pueyo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tiquisio's Lugo Vecilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Hondo Pueyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Tiquisio booed when Basura FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Onbera Montanez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Larpe Leyte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Basura FC's zone, Vladimiro Piñeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Naike Alceda came out of the goal and Vladimiro Piñeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Basura FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Basura FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
