Corderro Bettencourt's late challenge caught a Limoncitos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Corderro Bettencourt helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Limoncitos booed when Juain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corderro Bettencourt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raulo Perrote recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Juain getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Marz Colmenero hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Juain's goalkeeper Arnoldo Azadon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Cabria in the 23rd minute of play forced Limoncitos's goalkeeper Piarres Giraldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germano Cerbera struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Arnoldo Azadon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limoncitos. If Nayely Rusoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the game, Juain's Nayely Rusoto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Piarres Giraldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 39th minute, Gurutz Moron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juain's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Limoncitos's Piarres Giraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nayely Rusoto in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, one of Limoncitos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Piarres Giraldo went to the wrong direction when Corderro Bettencourt was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Piarres Giraldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nayely Rusoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Piarres Giraldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nayely Rusoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Piarres Giraldo made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Everardo Cabria sent off a good shot on target. Nayely Rusoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piarres Giraldo having to interfere. Fortunato Bacete stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arnoldo Azadon. 2-1. Limoncitos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
