Bartuelo Domaquia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Angel Ximeno when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Bartuelo Domaquia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angel Ximeno was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Lizardi Ferreiras walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 16 minutes into the game, Gonchan Gandia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chorreras FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spartans the free kick. A collision led to Chorreras FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Gonchan Gandia hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Bartuelo Domaquia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angel Ximeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartuelo Domaquia in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Spartans booed when Chorreras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nardo Zarza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Nel Beltran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salomone Medeiros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Angel Ximeno made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Chorreras FC's zone, Salomone Medeiros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angel Ximeno came out of the goal and Salomone Medeiros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bartuelo Domaquia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bartuelo Domaquia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Ximeno having to interfere. Spartans's Salomone Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Salomone Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bartuelo Domaquia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Ximeno having to interfere. Angel Ximeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salomone Medeiros in the 63rd minute of the match. Angel Ximeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartuelo Domaquia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th match minute, Chorreras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nel Beltran to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th match minute, Chorreras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Beneitez to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Salomone Medeiros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spartans fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Spartans's Lizardi Ferreiras couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 94th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Chorreras FC. 96 minutes into the match, Chorreras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bartuelo Domaquia came free, but Angel Ximeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Spartans were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
