CLUB ATLETICO NACIONAL's Sarracino Mayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barto Albarellos in the 10th minute of play. Sarracino Mayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristofor Sancha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evaristo Echeto kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barto Albarellos in the 24th minute of play forced CLUB ATLETICO NACIONAL's goalkeeper Sarracino Mayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Timoteo Buerga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josias Zaballos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timoteo Buerga in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josias Zaballos saved Quimula from getting behind. Timoteo Buerga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CLUB ATLETICO NACIONAL's Timoteo Buerga got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esquipula Chasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timoteo Buerga to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Timoteo Buerga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josias Zaballos was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Timoteo Buerga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Inacio Machado's late challenge caught a CLUB ATLETICO NACIONAL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inacio Machado helped the player get up and apologised. Baiardo Varga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Josias Zaballos. Quimula's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Quimula's Barto Albarellos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sarracino Mayo. That made the score 1-5 after 84 minutes of play. CLUB ATLETICO NACIONAL's Ysmael Reboiras was substituted for Timoteo Buerga. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Quimula walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
