Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Igor Acuña took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Havier Urbina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Che Villarprego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th match minute, Veracruz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Montay Carreras to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Igor Acuña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Balasi Aceves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Acuña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Che Villarprego having to interfere. Che Villarprego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Havier Urbina's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Havier Urbina put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Che Villarprego. Havier Urbina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Che Villarprego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. If Igor Acuña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Tebaida's zone, Balasi Aceves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tonio Terres came out of the goal and Balasi Aceves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Balasi Aceves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tonio Terres having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Prejun Linde stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Balasi Aceves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benja Boñal's late challenge caught a Veracruz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benja Boñal helped the player get up and apologised. Benja Boñal hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When Havier Urbina came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Tebaida fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Havier Urbina couldn't finish the play. Tonio Terres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prejun Linde's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Che Villarprego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Acuña in the 67th minute of play. Tonio Terres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balasi Aceves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tebaida's Igor Acuña in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Veracruz's goalie prevented a goal. If Prejun Linde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Havier Urbina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Che Villarprego having to interfere. Eguntsenti Lombraña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Che Villarprego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
