The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Damian Albiz lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Mikeldi Umaña. After 16 played minutes, Escarlatas Fls's Enekoitz Lejarazu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gonzales Toranzo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Escarlatas Fls reached it. A collision led to Llanoadentro FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Gilen Baptiste hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Escarlatas Fls's zone, Baleren Viladrosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikeldi Umaña came out of the goal and Baleren Viladrosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tebaldo Dameda hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Santxo Zahonero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santxo Zahonero to strike the kick off in the second half. If Damian Albiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 57 minutes, Baleren Viladrosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Llanoadentro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baleren Viladrosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Escarlatas Fls's Mikeldi Umaña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tebaldo Dameda in the 59th minute of play. Llanoadentro FC's Baleren Viladrosa got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Santxo Zahonero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Llanoadentro FC's Gonzales Toranzo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Llanoadentro FC from getting a goal against them. Porfiro Hurdinosa hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baleren Viladrosa in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mikeldi Umaña prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
