A collision led to Deportivo Bucaramanga getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Roger Cabria hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the match, Salazar's Cristian Bouceda broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 8 minutes into the match, Guilllermo Morais had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erruki Barrial. Deportivo Bucaramanga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guilllermo Morais was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Andres Belo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Tulio Casanova tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guilllermo Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erruki Barrial having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Bucaramanga's Roger Cabria got a free kick in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Bucaramanga's zone, Esteban Arrateguibel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erruki Barrial came out of the goal and Esteban Arrateguibel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the game, Pablo Tosantos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salazar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Bucaramanga the free kick. A collision led to Salazar getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Pablo Tosantos hit a great ball. Deportivo Bucaramanga's Erruki Barrial played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Arrateguibel in the 23rd minute of play. After having played for 24 minutes, Guilllermo Morais managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salazar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guilllermo Morais was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erruki Barrial showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Arrateguibel, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Deportivo Bucaramanga's Erruki Barrial played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilllermo Morais in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 minutes, Roger Cabria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Bucaramanga and the Salazar players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute of the match Cristian Bouceda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erruki Barrial showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nevada Santecilla kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Andres Belo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Tulio Casanova tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esteban Arrateguibel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roger Cabria kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Guilllermo Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erruki Barrial didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guilllermo Morais went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 61 minutes, Ladio Moreda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Bucaramanga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ladio Moreda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Deportivo Bucaramanga's Andres Belo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tulio Casanova narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tulio Casanova showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladio Moreda, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Deportivo Bucaramanga's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Esteban Arrateguibel 84 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. In the 91st minute, Esteban Arrateguibel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Deportivo Bucaramanga's Erruki Barrial got control of the ball when Guilllermo Morais tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erruki Barrial was a little too slow when Esteban Arrateguibel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-5. When the final whistle sounded Salazar left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Deportivo Bucaramanga.
