In the 4th match minute, Martin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Descarrega to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Jacindo Arandia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lekubegi Belon. Claudia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacindo Arandia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 11th minute Miguel Cadimo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lekubegi Belon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mattin Catalan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Montesino in the 16th minute of play forced Martin's goalkeeper Roderigo Falcon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Cadimo in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lekubegi Belon saved Claudia FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Claudia FC's zone, Jacindo Arandia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lekubegi Belon came out of the goal and Jacindo Arandia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Martin's goalkeeper Roderigo Falcon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacindo Arandia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lekubegi Belon having to interfere. Roderigo Falcon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattin Catalan in the 47th minute of play.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Cadimo made a kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Martin's Miguel Cadimo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lekubegi Belon was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Jacindo Arandia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Claudia FC's Nando Villaciergo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Raphael Montesino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roderigo Falcon having to interfere. When Pero Lezarreta fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Claudia FC's protests and gave Pero Lezarreta a yellow card for diving instead. Martin's Jacindo Arandia got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Miguel Cadimo notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Claudia FC's Lekubegi Belon. Lekubegi Belon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
