The supporters of Ataco booed when Palonegro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ipar Valines didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amato Monje stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramirez Mandelo's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Amato Monje made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramirez Mandelo in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes in the game, Foro Betzanos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Obano Udobro having to interfere. Obano Udobro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Foro Betzanos went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Ramirez Mandelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 69 minutes into the match, Ataco's goal looked a bit too open when Polo Vives came free, but Amato Monje reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Palonegro's goalkeeper Obano Udobro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodor Piñeiro. Cebo Olazabala kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Amato Monje took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Polo Vives, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 minutes, Gerazan Rioseras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ataco and the Palonegro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ataco's Amato Monje played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Polo Vives in the 99th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
