Obano Udobro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Llope Losado got free with Obano Udobro in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Palonegro's Obano Udobro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Palonegro from getting a goal against them. Cayetano Gavito came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Palonegro's Ipar Valines. But to his dismay, Ipar Valines quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Ruescas in the 23rd minute of play forced Palonegro's goalkeeper Obano Udobro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Polo Vives had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henrique Armenteros charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrique Armenteros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Palonegro fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Llope Losado to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Tigrepozo FC's Gilen Angosto got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 58th minute, Hermelando Calderon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd match minute, Palonegro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Mendibuey to maneuver through the defense. In the 64thth minute of the game Llope Losado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palonegro's Obano Udobro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Llope Losado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Obano Udobro was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. With a little luck, Tigrepozo FC's Cayetano Gavito got control of the ball when Ipar Valines tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ramirez Mandelo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Cayetano Gavito made a huge save. Llope Losado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Obano Udobro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Polo Vives sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Llope Losado made a precise shot to the right of Obano Udobro. Palonegro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Tigrepozo FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
