Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Araos's Evarado Ojesto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Araos's zone, Oliverio Godines stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosario Buerga came out of the goal and Oliverio Godines tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 4 minutes into the match, Araos's goal looked a bit too open when Txatxu Bringas came free, but Rosario Buerga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oliverio Godines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Pelaya's Rosario Buerga threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Txatxu Bringas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evarado Ojesto in the 9th minute of play forced Pelaya's goalkeeper Mikel Lambarida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Araos booed when Pelaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Espiridion Mañon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Demesio Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Pelaya booed when Araos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Tella didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oliverio Godines who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Rosario Buerga when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Txatxu Bringas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pelaya's supporters rose to their feet, but Txatxu Bringas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rosario Buerga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute, Oliverio Godines got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivon Rio kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Oliverio Godines's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Rosario Buerga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mikel Lambarida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evarado Ojesto in the 34th minute of the match. Demesio Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Mikel Lambarida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Pelaya's goal looked a bit too open when Evarado Ojesto came free, but Mikel Lambarida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evarado Ojesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikel Lambarida having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Txatxu Bringas made a kick off. In the 51st minute Txatxu Bringas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosario Buerga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikel Lambarida didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Demesio Duarte went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 61 minutes into the game, Gonsalve Barbaza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Araos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pelaya the free kick. A collision led to Araos getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Gonsalve Barbaza hit a great ball. Mikel Lambarida made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Demesio Duarte sent off a good shot on target. After 67 minutes, Rocendo Llames mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Araos and the Pelaya players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Araos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pelaya:s goal. Oliverio Godines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosario Buerga having to interfere. Rosario Buerga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliverio Godines in the 77th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Araos got a freekick which was hit by Demesio Duarte. With a little luck, Pelaya's Mikel Lambarida got control of the ball when Demesio Duarte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Demesio Duarte hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pelaya's zone, Evarado Ojesto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikel Lambarida came out of the goal and Evarado Ojesto tried to chip the ball over his head. In the 93rd minute Oliverio Godines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosario Buerga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
