Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Matei Llanes got the match started through his kick off. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Santikurtz Mazarredo sped through Corozo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Domingo Ociña. After 9 played minutes Corozo FC got a freekick which was hit by Felo Colina. Domingo Ociña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santikurtz Mazarredo in the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Rudolfo Roberto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corozo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave medallo FC the free kick. Rudolfo Roberto kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, medallo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felo Colina came free, but Ioritz Romani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, medallo FC's Ioritz Romani got control of the ball when Felo Colina tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute, Santikurtz Mazarredo made a precise shot to the right of Domingo Ociña. Corozo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Santikurtz Mazarredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Corozo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xarles Arizmendez came free, but Domingo Ociña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Seguinus Noceda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Domingo Ociña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santikurtz Mazarredo in the 35th minute of play forced Corozo FC's goalkeeper Domingo Ociña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Santikurtz Mazarredo came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the medallo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santikurtz Mazarredo couldn't finish the play. Xarles Arizmendez struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Domingo Ociña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for medallo FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santikurtz Mazarredo in the 40th minute of play forced Corozo FC's goalkeeper Domingo Ociña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half medallo FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santikurtz Mazarredo made a kick off. Firman Bonjoch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ioritz Romani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Corozo FC's Domingo Ociña got control of the ball when Santikurtz Mazarredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Corozo FC's Domingo Ociña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santikurtz Mazarredo in the 57th minute of play. Ruben Senties fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Ociña having to interfere. Domingo Ociña made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Xarles Arizmendez sent off a good shot on target. If Santikurtz Mazarredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Santikurtz Mazarredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Ociña having to interfere. Ioritz Romani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matei Llanes in the 69th minute of play. Domingo Ociña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xarles Arizmendez, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. When Santikurtz Mazarredo came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the medallo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santikurtz Mazarredo couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Corozo FC's zone, Xarles Arizmendez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Ociña came out of the goal and Xarles Arizmendez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute, Romulo Reyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Corozo FC's zone, Santikurtz Mazarredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Ociña came out of the goal and Santikurtz Mazarredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The medallo FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing medallo FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
