The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Txaran Espino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodio Chavarre, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orti Gaiztarro in the 4th minute of play forced Xteep's goalkeeper Tauro Pardeo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clodio Chavarre might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Txaran Espino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clodio Chavarre ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 16th minute of the match Desiderio Sorrarain shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Txaran Espino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Dinhos F.C. defense, Clodio Chavarre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Txaran Espino. The Dinhos F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Txaran Espino should have stopped the shot. Dinhos F.C.'s Txaran Espino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Rivas in the 26th minute of play. Orti Gaiztarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tauro Pardeo having to interfere. If Mancio Leturia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 32nd minute, Orti Gaiztarro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tauro Pardeo, passed just outside the right post. 38 minutes into the match, Xteep's goalkeeper Tauro Pardeo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orti Gaiztarro. Bero Laguna took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Txaran Espino. Dinhos F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Dinhos F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Xteep were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mancio Leturia was the one to do the kick off. Azubeli Mascaran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Txaran Espino made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Orti Gaiztarro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dinhos F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Orti Gaiztarro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tauro Pardeo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Xteep's Clodio Chavarre got a free kick in the 57th minute. Mergildo Tofiño walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Txaran Espino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodio Chavarre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79thth minute of the game Mancio Leturia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xteep's Tauro Pardeo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Orti Gaiztarro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Tauro Pardeo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Orti Gaiztarro came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Dinhos F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orti Gaiztarro couldn't finish the play. After 91 minutes, Fidel Barral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xteep and the Dinhos F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fidel Barral hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Txaran Espino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodio Chavarre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Dinhos F.C.'s Mergildo Tofiño got a free kick in the 98th minute. Xteep's Bero Laguna couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 99th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Dinhos F.C.. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Xteep eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
