Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Frichoso Chapa got the match started through his kick off. Tab Limiñana struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Chuse Aspiazu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ONCE AZUL FDC. 5 minutes into the match, Independiente del Huila's goal looked a bit too open when Tab Limiñana came free, but Chuse Aspiazu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th match minute, ONCE AZUL FDC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilio Lantaron to maneuver through the defense. Independiente del Huila's Chuse Aspiazu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Independiente del Huila from getting a goal against them. Frichoso Chapa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Maule Egaña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute Tab Limiñana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chuse Aspiazu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Jimeno Cortinez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Tab Limiñana fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ONCE AZUL FDC's protests and gave Tab Limiñana a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, Tab Limiñana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tab Limiñana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chuse Aspiazu having to interfere. Brion Ortega kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tab Limiñana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, ONCE AZUL FDC's goalkeeper Maule Egaña had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jimeno Cortinez. After some careless play in the ONCE AZUL FDC defense, Jimeno Cortinez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maule Egaña. The ONCE AZUL FDC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maule Egaña should have stopped the shot. If Jimeno Cortinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by ONCE AZUL FDC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Victorio Lerin was slow to take the kick. During this time Independiente del Huila's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Independiente del Huila's Victorio Lerin to fire away a dangerous shot which Maule Egaña despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Independiente del Huila's Frichoso Chapa in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ONCE AZUL FDC's goalie prevented a goal. Maule Egaña made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Jimeno Cortinez sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 78 minutes, Frichoso Chapa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independiente del Huila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frichoso Chapa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Tab Limiñana notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Independiente del Huila's Chuse Aspiazu. Chuse Aspiazu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 84 minutes into the match, ONCE AZUL FDC's goal looked a bit too open when Frichoso Chapa came free, but Maule Egaña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Independiente del Huila's zone, Tab Limiñana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chuse Aspiazu came out of the goal and Tab Limiñana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Independiente del Huila played a much better game than ONCE AZUL FDC and deserved their victory. The ONCE AZUL FDC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
